Currently, we are seeking to build Panama based Engineering team!

Responsibilities:

- Senior Manager in Panama responsible for Panama-based Research and Development operations.
- Collaborate with U.S. based Principal System Architect to design and build best-of-class back office processing (C++) and web-based data analysis tools (ASP.NET / C#).
- Think strategically and driving technical vision. Maintain the ability to focus on the important issues and prioritize efforts in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment.
- Effectively manage a team of motivated engineers ranging from Web, to Application, to Database developers, driving them to successfully deliver innovative and competitive solutions on time.
- Constantly seek ways to improve the application systems environment, protocols, and processes employed by software engineering, architecture, data services, and other technology groups.
- Investigate third-party tools, technologies, and platforms for potential adoption by the technology team (e.g. tools for systems monitoring, load testing, security, etc.)
- Best Practices and Standards – responsible for cooperatively developing, distributing, supporting, enforcing, and integrating best practices and technology standards across the technology organization


What you need:

- 5+ yrs experience as a Director of Software development or Development Manager (will consider a VP title from a smaller environment)
- Extensive experience building and delivering commercial applications
- Fluency across a range of technology platforms.
- Experience working with technology at early stages, at growth stages and at stability stages required
- Excellent English language skills are mandatory
